Last season, Ankurjyoti Club made a losing start to the 2023 campaign but they still managed to reach the final where they were beaten by New Star Club.

Akash Basfor was the key factor behind the success achieved by Ankurjyoti Club after he chipped in with 231 runs from his 10 innings at an average of 25.6 and a strike rate of 111. His bat could be very useful for the team once again, as they begin the campaign with a tricky match.

The big reason behind Ankurjyoti Club almost claiming the title in 2023 were the bowlers. The team had three bowlers in the top 10 positions when it came to the most wickets.
