Aries Kollam Sailors Preview

Sachin Baby’s team continues with its impressive march in the season. They have won three games and look good with the bat and the ball. They defeated Alleppey Ripples by 8 wickets in the last game and shall hunt for their fourth consecutive win and take their campaign closer to the semi-final with a win.  

Arun Poulose has batted well and will look to deliver a good start in this game along with Abhishek Nair. The middle order has played well, and Baby would look to anchor the innings and add runs with Vathsal Govind and AK Arjun. Rahul Sharma and Biju Narayanan add firepower to this batting.  

The bowling attack has done the demolishing act in all games and not allowed batsmen to settle in. Biju Narayanan and NP Basil shall look to pick early wickets and put the team in a commanding position. KM Asif and Sudhesan Midhun will look to reduce the run rate. After suffering consecutive losses, Basil Thampi’s team tasted victory for the first time this season. It was a convincing victory for the team as they defeated the Alleppey Ripples by 64 runs. Thampi shall look to build on this momentum going into the next game and expect a good show from his players.  

Anand Krishnan and Jobin Joby put up a 140-run stand in the last game, and the team will expect a good start from the openers. Shoun Roger will look to do well in the middle order and add runs with Manu Krishnan and Nikhil Thottath. Anuj Jotin and Jobin Joby add strength to the batting in the lower middle order.
