Georgia Adams' side is the defending champions, and they would like to start the tournament with a bang. They have good players, and Adams would like to get the best out of them in this game. Their record against the Melbourne Stars is poor, and the side would like to improve that with a win here.  

Ella Wilson and Katie Mack will look to get the side off to a good start in the game as they face a strong bowling attack. Laura Wolvaardt is a strong player at No. 3 and will look to add runs with Tahlia McGrath and Bridget Patterson.
