Bengal had a very comfortable game against Bihar with the team chasing down their target in comfort. So far in the campaign, Lal’s performances have been exceptional and he is now up to 295 runs from his six innings at an average of 59. Only three other batsmen have picked up more runs than Karan Lal.

Abishek Porel is expected to be the next big contributor of runs. He has 227 runs from his six innings. Despite failing to make a big impression against Bihar, Abishek Porel is expected to be a strong partner for Lal.

The bowling line-up has not had much success so far in the campaign. Sayan Ghosh remains the top bowler for the team in the recent four encounters. He has picked up seven wickets from these matches but at an average of 14.4.
