Only one of the top 4 batters in the Fortune Barishal lineup from last season will continue to feature this year. And that’s Ibrahim Zadran who bats at number 3.
While both openers Anamul Haque and Chatarunga de Silva have left this camp, Barishal have brought in some big guns to replace them. Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, and Fakhar Zaman will be seen in this squad this year.

However, the other exciting g for Riders has been that of former Barishal skipper Shakib Al Hasan. He led Fortune Barishal last year and while it’s not certain as of yet who will be the captain of Riders, Shakib will have a crucial role to play as an all-rounder.
Riders retained Nicholas Pooran and Nurul Hasan among the wicket-keeper batters while releasing the other 4 including Sam Billings and Tom Kohler-Core.
