Chattogram Challengers need to improve their bowling. They didn’t have an ideal start as they faced the Sylhet Sixers in their opening game of the Bangladesh Premier League 2024.
The bowlers failed to deliver breakthroughs and the only ones who were successful were also expensive at the same time. Curtis Campher picked 1 for 35 from his 3 Overs while Nihaduzzaman picked 1 for 31 from his four.
Skipper Shuvagata Hom will be expecting the trio of Al Amin, Bilal Khan, and Shohidul Islam to bounce back and find their rhythm as they take on a mighty batting lineup of Khulna Tigers.
Avishka Fernando looked in good touch as the Challengers began their run-chase in the last match. His opening partner Tanzid Hasan and number 3 Imran Uzzaman didn’t get going and were out cheaply.

We reckon the playing XI might feature 2 of their 4 wicket-keeper batsmen. And these would be Shai Hope and skipper Anamul Haque. And since they’ve got a nice balance in the all-rounders' department with 3 batting all-rounders, we don’t think the skipper would go with a 3rd wicket-keeper batsman.
There are experienced players like Dhananjaya de Silva and Dasun Shanaka who will be crucial with the bat. Shanaka can be the finisher for Khulna Tigers in the lower-middle order. Faheem Ashram is another crucial figure among the all-rounders.
This bowling all-rounder can score a few quick runs and should make it to the XI. And while there is no Wahab Riaz and Naseem Shah this season, Khulna Tigers will be looking up to Kasun Rajitha and Mohammad Wasim Jr. to deliver in the pace department.
