Dambulla Sixers Preview

Mohammad Nabi's side is nearly out of contention for the playoffs after their 54-run loss in the last game against the Kandy Falcons. The side has been inconsistent this season, putting them in a difficult position. They defeated the Strikers in the last game, and Nabi would like his players to take inspiration from that victory.  

Reeza Hendricks and Kusal Perera set up a match-winning start the last time they played Colombo Strikers, and the pair looks forward to doing the same. Mark Chapman, Lahiru Udara, and Ibrahim Zadran must build partnerships in the middle order, which has been a problem for the team this season. In the final overs, they will look for quick runs from Nabi and Sonal Dinusha.  

The bowling attack has looked rusty in most games, and the side will need early wickets from Nuwan Thushara and Dilshan Madushanka. Sonal Dinusha and Nabi have struggled with their line and length, and the team expects a better show from them, along with Dushan Hemantha. Chamindu Wickramasinghe adds depth to the attack.

They lost to the Dambulla Sixers earlier in the season and shall look to level it with a win in this contest.  

Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Angelo Perera will look to deliver a positive start in this game and bat well against the new ball. Muhammad Waseem played a match-winning knock against the Galle Marvels and shall look to build partnerships with Glenn Phillips and Sadeera Samarawickrama.
