Certain cricketers seem to have come along at the right time for their skill set and while there will always be some pain for cricket fans that the likes of Ian Botham and Viv Richards never got the opportunity to play in these short-format tournaments, the likes of Moeen Ali, with his clean-hitting approach, have been able to build a lucrative career out of the modern-day sport.

The now-retired England all-rounder looks like being a perfect fit for this 90-ball aside affair and we expect him to make an impact with both bat and ball in this game.

Yusuf Pathan is another impact player for Gujarat Samp Army and he has been able to continue to play at a very high level despite not playing at international level since 2012. We anticipate that he will open the batting and continue his strong form.

With the ball, Miguel Cummins is likely to be the most dangerous pace bowler.

At the top of the order, we expect to see the left-right combination of former West Indies opener Chris Gayle with the 'Universe Boss' going into battle with Herschelle Gibbs. The South African was famed for his quick-running between the wickets and athleticism in the field and whilst age may prevent him from being so sharp in both disciplines, he will surely bring a positive attitude to the middle.

Keeper-batter Matt Prior remains a strong individual and when he times the ball, few hit it to the boundary rope at such a speed!

With the ball, Abdur Razzak and Varun Aaron are likely to be the most accurate although we could well see Chris Gayle producing his loopy spinners at some stage.
