Leicestershire Preview

Lewis Hill's side did well in the semifinal. In a one-sided game, they defeated Gloucestershire by 6 wickets. It was an excellent performance from their bowlers that saw them win. They face a formidable opponent in Hampshire, whom they had defeated earlier in the season. Hill would like a spirited performance from his players as they aim to lift the trophy for the first time.  

Soloman Budinger has done well, and the side will expect a good show from him and Rishi Patel at the top. Peter Handscomb has done well in the last few games, and he must anchor the middle order and build partnerships with Lewis Hill and Wiaan Mulder. The side will miss Colin Ackermann in this game and need a good show from Will Davis, Louis Kimber, and Tom Scriven towards the end of the innings.  

The bowling attack performed brilliantly in the semifinal. The team will need good spells from Chris Wright and Wiaan Mulder to trouble Hampshire's strong batting line-up. Matt Salisbury and Josh Hull did well in the last game, and good spells from them will put the side in a commanding position. They lack depth in the attack and shall look for a good show from Tom Scriven as the fifth bowler.

Nick Gubbins' side put up a terrific show in their semifinal game against Warwickshire, winning by 9 wickets. They bowled out the opponents for 93 runs and easily chased it down. Gubbins would like the side to play with the same confidence and grab the One-Day Cup title for the second time. 

Fletcha Middleton is in excellent form and will look to provide an electrifying start with James Vince. Aneurin Donald has done well in the last few weeks, and he will look to add runs in the middle order with Gubbins and Ben Brown. Joe Weatherley, Liam Dawson, and Ian Holland complete a strong batting line-up for the side.  

Keith Barker and Holland are in good form and will look to bowl a good spell with the new ball. Liam Dawson picked 7 wickets in the last game, and he will look to start from where he left off and do well in the middle overs with Mason Crane and Brad Wheal. Gubbins adds bowling options for the team.
