It was a seven wicket victory for Leicestershire at Lord's against Middlesex last week as the Foxes made it four wins from six and extended their lead at the top of the County Championship Division Two table.

Leicestershire got ahead with a 42 run lead at the end of the first innings and never looked back, eventually getting to their target in the fourth innings of the match just three wickets down.

Ian Holland, Logan van Beek and Ben Green were the standout performers with the ball in that match although all six of the bowling attack picked up at least one wicket in the first innings!

With the bat, captain Peter Handscomb was the most impressive for Leicestershire at Lord's and opener Rishi Patel will be looking to get back to making big runs after making a century in the last game in Leicester.

Only two wickets separated a victory for Lancashire against Derbyshire last week but the team will come to Leicestershire will renewed self-belief after dominating the match at Old Trafford.

Lancashire posted 458 in the first innings before a quick-fire declaration of 184/7 but could not get Derbyshire any closer to being all out when the teams shook hands on 220/8.

Former skipper Keaton Jennings and Josh Bohannon both made single figure scores in the first innings but Luke Wells (141), Marcus Harris (45), Matty Hurst (51), George Bell (57), George Balderson (73) and Tom Hartley (42) all impressed.

With the ball, Jimmy Anderson returned to action with five wickets and England international left-arm spinner also dismissed the same number in an impressive showing.
