Maharashtra will be hoping for an even stronger outing with the bat as they face a strong Mumbai lineup on a batting-friendly wicket in Hyderabad. We don’t expect a lot from the bowlers in this game and as such, it will be up to the batters to put their team in a winning position.
As such, the in-form Rahul Tripathi will hold the key to a big total for Maharashtra at number 3. Ruturaj Gaikwad came into the side in the second match and was out cheaply opening alongside Arshin Kulkarni.
Kulkarni has looked promising and will be one to watch out for. Hinganekar’s 43 off 18 balls has raised hopes for Maharashtra. He adds a lot of strength to the lower order and can help finish the game on a high.
