Middlesex Titans Preview

After a hard-fought loss to the Surrey Risers in a Super Over, the Middlesex Titans ed their first win of the season in their most recent match, defeating the Middlesex United Stars by 11 runs in a low-scoring affair. Winning the toss, the Middlesex Titans elected to bat first and posted a score of 88/5 in 10 overs. Alwyn Williams provided a brisk start with 15 runs off 7 balls. Later, middle-order batters Albert Gopie (16 runs off 13 balls) and Tyrone Daley (25 runs off 21 balls) provided the much-needed impetus towards the end of the innings, powering them to a competitive total.

Then in the run-chase the United Stars were in comfortable position at 61/2 at the end of 7 overs, requiring 28 runs in 18 balls, but Krishmar Santokie with his left arm pace bowling changed the whole complexion of the game by dismissing the inform and well set Damani Sewell for 40 runs.
