Oval Invincibles Preview

Sam Billings' side has been consistent right from the start of this season. They have won most of their games comfortably and defeated the Trent Rockets by 5 wickets in their last league game. The skipper will look forward to riding this momentum and bagging their first title in this tournament.   

Will Jacks has been the team's best batsman this year and will look to deliver a positive start in this game. Sam Billings, who played a match-winning knock in the last game, must do well in the middle order along with Tawanda Muyeye and Sam Curran. James Neesham and Tom Curran are good hitters, adding strength to the side down the order.   

Several injuries have weakened the bowling attack, and they will need a good show from Spencer Johnson and Gus Atkinson with the new ball. Sam Curran must bring his experience to play and do well in the middle with Nathan Sowter and Tom Curran. The side will expect a good show in the ing role from Zak Chappell and Will Jacks.

The Originals' skipper would look for a good show from his bowlers in this game, as they nearly gave away the game against the Southern Brave. It won't be easy, and Buttler would like his side to put their best foot forward.  

Jos Buttler is the leading run scorer in the season, and he will look to deliver a positive start with Phillip Salt, who is in good form. Max Holden and Laurie Evans have done well, and they will look to add runs in the middle order with Paul Walter. Jamie Overton and Wayne Madsen complete a strong batting line-up for the team.  

Their bowling attack performed poorly in the last game. The side will expect a good show with the ball from Richard Gleeson and Joshua Little in this game.
