RCB Women have retained 11 of their 18 players from last season which should give a good balance between continuity and team spirit whilst noting that they need to improve on that campaign.

With a top three batting line up of Sophie Devine, Ellyse Perry and Smriti Mandhana, scoring runs in the first half of the innings should not be a problem, and with powerhouses like Richa Ghosh and Nadine de Klerk to come in the middle-order, they should be able to go big with the bat.

With the ball, Kate Cross and Renuka Singh will provide the pace options with Sobhana Asha's spin likely to cause a few issues for the opposing batters.

RCB Women have a strong squad but UP Warriorz look to have assembled an even better group of players for this campaign. Even the late withdrawal of England Women's tall bowler, Lauren Bell, they still look like a formidable unit.

Bell's replacement Chamari Athapaththu is likely to open the batting alongside Tahlia McGrath with the ever-run-hungry skipper and keeper-batter Alyssa Healy to come in at one down.

Those three are more than capable of winning a game with their batting skills alone but, in case they fail in that mission, the bowling trio of Sophie Ecclestone, Deepti Sharma and Rajeshwari Gayakwad are more than capable of stepping up and delivering with the ball.
