By the time this game gets underway we will have already seen the opening match of the tournament so there should be a little less hype and excitement around the stadium with cricket taking centre stage on Saturday evening!
This tournament has the eyes of the cricketing world on it and make no mistake about it there are cricket fans watching this competition across all four corners of the globe.
One of the reasons for the great interest in this match will be the star names on show and, no matter what time of the day it is when you are watching, you will have no problem in staying awake.
RCB Women have retained 11 of their 18 players from last season which should give a good balance between continuity and team spirit whilst noting that they need to improve on that campaign.
With a top three batting line up of Sophie Devine, Ellyse Perry and Smriti Mandhana, scoring runs in the first half of the innings should not be a problem, and with powerhouses like Richa Ghosh and Nadine de Klerk to come in the middle-order, they should be able to go big with the bat.
With the ball, Kate Cross and Renuka Singh will provide the pace options with Sobhana Asha's spin likely to cause a few issues for the opposing batters.

RCB Women have a strong squad but UP Warriorz look to have assembled an even better group of players for this campaign. Even the late withdrawal of England Women's tall bowler, Lauren Bell, they still look like a formidable unit.
Bell's replacement Chamari Athapaththu is likely to open the batting alongside Tahlia McGrath with the ever-run-hungry skipper and keeper-batter Alyssa Healy to come in at one down.
Those three are more than capable of winning a game with their batting skills alone but, in case they fail in that mission, the bowling trio of Sophie Ecclestone, Deepti Sharma and Rajeshwari Gayakwad are more than capable of stepping up and delivering with the ball.

It is going to be a warm and pleasant evening in Bengaluru with the temperature not forecast to drop below 24 degrees. Clear skies will be above from start to finish.

Average TurnThe WPL is a tournament which delivers big scores and we expect this pitch to deliver the same. Whoever bats first will be expecting to post a total of at least 170 on a surface which will offer pace, bounce and carry.
At this early stage of a new campaign, the players will be keen to get an idea of the pace and any potential misbehaviour of the pitch before having a bat themselves. We predict both teams will look to bowl first if they win the toss.
Both teams will be desperate to get off to a winning start and we expect a very high level of quality in this game across both innings. Neither team looks likely to be dominated by the other but we have UP Warriorz as our prediction to win Match 2 of the 2024 WPL!
