South Africa Preview

Aiden Markram's side has a big challange in this game. Poor efforts with the bat and the ball cost them the last game. Their record in T20 cricket hasn't been great in the last couple of years, and Markram would expect a better show from his players. The Aussies will come hard at them, and the South Africans must put their best efforts in this game to stay alive in the series.  

Reeza Hendricks did well in the last game, and he will need from Temba Bavuma, opening the batting for the side. The middle order had a poor outing in the last game, and they will need partnerships between Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, and Dewald Brevis. Tristan Stubbs, Marco Jansen, and Gerald Coetzee must do well with the bat for the side to win here.  

The bowling attack was taken to the cleaners by the Aussies in the last game. They will need early wickets from Lungi Ngidi and Marco Jansen to put their opponents under pressure. Travis Head went cheaply in the last game, and he will look to deliver a strong start in this game along with Matthew Short. Marsh played a captain's knock in the last game and will look to build partnerships with Josh Inglis and Marcus Stoinis in the middle order. The side has good finishers and will look for runs from Tim David, Aaron Hardie, and Sean Abbott.  

The bowling attack will feel confident after the great show in the last game. Spenser Johnson was a bit expensive in the last game, and he will look to do well with Marcus Stoinis with the new ball. Tanveer Sangh and Nathan Ellis bowled well, and the side will expect a good show from them. Aaron Hardie and Abbott add to the side's bowling options.
