The opening T20I was an excellent contest between two strong teams in this format and many pundits are expecting this second game of the series to be equally as competitive.
Centurion is an excellent venue for any format of cricket and Pakistan have an excellent record here in T20Is so history would suggest that they are in a good position to go level in the series!
But if they are to do that, they will need to find a way to tame David Miller and George Linde, both who dominated when at the crease on Tuesday. For the tourists, Shaheen Shah Afridi produced another brilliant bowling display and Mohammad Rizwan starred with the bat, but if they are to take the series to a decider, they will need more contributions from other batters on Friday.
It was David Miller who shone with the bat in the opening game of the series in Durban but this South Africa T20I side, who went all the way to the T20 World Cup final earlier this year, have plenty of other strong top order batters in their XI.
Opening up will be Reeza Hendricks and Rassie van der Dussen before the impressive Matthew Breetzke, who many are predicting a long and strong international career, will come in at number three. Skipper and keeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen made only 12 in the first game but he is one of the great T20I batters of this generation and few would be surprised to see him top score in this game.
With the ball, it was George Linde who led the way with 4/21 on Tuesday but the pace options of Kwena Maphaka, Ottneil Baartman and Andile Simelane could well be more dangerous at Centurion.

There were four notable individual performances from Pakistan in the first T20I so even though they lost that game there should still be plenty of confidence in the squad,
Those strong showing came from left-arm pace bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi (3/22), mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed (3/37), captain Mohammad Rizwan (74 runs from 62 balls) and number three batter Saim Ayub (31 runs from 15 balls).
Coming to Centurion, Pakistan will be looking to others to step up as well and they are fortunate to have strong depth in this T20I squad.
The great Babar Azam made a four-ball duck in the opening fixture and number four Usman Khan is another potential match-winner with the bat. Haris Rauf is another star bowler in this team.

According to the forecast, there is a chance of some rain across what is expected to be a cloudy Friday in Centurion. However, come the evening and this game we are predicting a dry affair!
This was the venue for a high-scoring 216/6 playing 208/7 last month and it would be a surprise if we did not see over 400 runs again in this fixture. Good pace, good carry and the opportunity to score plenty of runs will be the order of the day.
India beat South Africa by batting first in the last T20I here but the previous five games in this format were all won by the team fielding first. Therefore, we are predicting that both captains will arrive at the ground hoping to bat first.
Pakistan have an excellent T20I record here at Centurion and their pace bowlers will certainly have a say in the outcome of the game. However, we think that South Africa have the stronger group of players and we are predicting another win for them to take the series.
We are backing South Africa to win!
