Considering there was a huge amount of surprise during the Women's T20 World Cup last month when England Women and India Women were knocked out in the group stage before Australia Women exited in the semi-final to setup a final between South Africa Women and New Zealand Women, everything now seems to be reverting to type!
That means England Women being a formidable presence in bilateral series and South Africa Women finding themselves to be competitive but just off the level of the likes of India Women and England Women.
This has been a really exciting series and it is a shame that it is already decided ahead of this final contest. But even in defeat, South Africa Women have shown plenty of character and skill so they should be in the mix to push England Women all the way again in this fixture.

The series has gone and South Africa Women were well beaten in a high scoring game in Benoni on Wednesday, but there were positives for the hosts to take into this match at Centurion.
With the bat, the lower-order hitting of Sinalo Jafta and Nadine de Klerk was impressive, as were the 24 runs from 15 balls at number four from Annerie Dercksen. Captain Laura Wolvaardt and Chloe Tryon are always consistent performers and South Africa Women just need one of their top five to kick on and make a big score in this game.
The bowling attack needs to be more economical in this match though after all seven bowlers went at over 9.00 runs per over on Wednesday! Nadine de Klerk and Ayada Hlubi are likely to lead the attack.

England Women have such a powerful and consistent side that it is still a real puzzle to many cricket fans, least of all English ones, how they didn't manage to at least reach the semi-finals of the Women's T20 World Cup.
Captain Heather Knight knocked away criticism of the team's fitness levels after their elimination and she has proved to be correct with two comfortable victories in this series so far. Knight will be determined for her to team to not let off now and to make it three from three.
Even with Maia Bouchier and Sophia Dunkley making single figure scores on Wednesday, the other two in the top four, Danni Wyatt-Hodge and Nat Sciver-Brunt, delivered the goods!
And with the ball, Sophie Ecclestone will be keen to retain her place as the leader of the attack after Sarah Glenn took 4/20 in Benoni!

Under the lights on Saturday evening at Centurion but it will still be very warm with the temperature unlikely to dip below 22 degrees before the end of the match. There will be some clouds but it will mainly be played under clear skies.
This will be the first WT20I at SuperSport Park since February 2019 although there was a very high scoring T20I between India and South Africa earlier this month. We expect a good batting track with a par score around 175-180.
Both games in the series so far has seen the toss winning captain elect to field first and we expect that to continue irrespective of which captain calls correctly ahead of this match.
Heather Knight will be disappointed if England only take this series 2-1 and the way her team has been going about their business in this series makes it look like they are determined to win the respect back of cricket fans and experts across the globe. We expect South Africa Women to run them close but are predicting another victory for England Women.
We are backing England Women to win!
