For the first edition of the tournament, the Nepal Cricket League has certainly not disappointed!
So far we have had 31 games featuring some huge names from the world of cricket and it would be no surprise if this final on Saturday delivers the best contest with the highest quality of them all.
Some pundits are making a big play of Sudurpaschim Roayls' vastly superior record in the two previous head to heads and although that could play a role, this is a final when all form and previous meetings go out of the window.
The real question is can Janakpur Bolts raise their game as even their win on Thursday was far from convincing!

Sudurpaschim Royals beat Janakpur Bolts by 8 wickets
After thrashing Janakpur Bolts by 8 wickets with 9 balls remaining in Wednesday's Qualifier 1, Sudurpaschim Royals will arrive at the ground in Kirtipur full of confidence and expecting to lift the trophy come late Saturday afternoon!
If they are to do so, then it will probably be Binod Bhandari who produces the goods with the bat as he hit 58 not out from 55 balls in the play-off game whilst Saif Zaib also impressed at the top of the order. Equally, a feature of the Royals' success in this tournament has been the depth of their batting so there is plenty more to come even if the top two fail.
With the ball, captain Dipendra Singh Airee will be looking forward to bowling at the Bolts again after taking 3/29 and that man Zaib will also be keen to have another go after rturning figures of 2/20.

Sometimes when the going gets tough, a star emerges for a team and that was certainly the case in the Qualifier 2 on Thursday when Janakpur Bolts looked in a whole heap of trouble on 16/3 and then 58/5 in pursuit of 119 to win.
Fortunately for the Bolts, in James Neesham they have a player who has not only seen it and done it across various venues in the world of cricket, but someone with the match-winning cool temperament for the situation.
His 45 runs from 17 balls proved decisive but the Bolts will need it all again on Saturday! With the ball, he will be key as well as Lalit Rajbanshi and Mohammad Mohsin.
The truth is, if the Bolts are to lift the trophy, they need everyone to deliver.

The weather has been very consistent across this tournament and the organisers should be congratulated for scheduling the competition at such a sensible time of year. Another dry and sunny day is forecast on Saturday with the temperature no higher than 18 degrees.
Although some games have seen some high scores, the last two matches have seen the totals come way down and it looks like becoming a trickier place to bat. That said a par score in the first innings will be around 150.
The last two games in the tournament have been won by the team bowling first so we predict that it will be an easy decision for the captains at the toss and they will choose to insert the opposition if they call correctly.
If Janakpur Bolts produce their best performance of the tournament so far then they could still easily end up as runners-up as Sudurpaschim Royals have been so strong. We are predicting a good contest but can see nothing other than another victory for the Royals with them lifting the trophy on Saturday.
We are backing Sudurpaschim Royals to win!
