Although these two sides are sitting in the bottom two positions and both have yet to pick up a point in the tournament so far this season, there will still be plenty of talent on show.
50-over cricket is also one where momentum can be a force and both Titans and Dolphins will be hoping that a win in this game will propel them to further success across this campaign.
The truth is though, that both teams have looked under-par compared to the other six sides in division one and their ers will need to see a huge improvement with bat and ball before they get excited.
They may be point-less at the start of this game, but Centurion will see one of the teams climb away from the bottom.
Although the results have not been there for Titans so far in this campaign, they do have plenty of talent in their side. From young keeper-batter Lhuan-dre Pretorius who took centre stage in the SA20, to Keegan Petersen and Dewald Brevis in the middle order, there should be more big scores coming out of this side.
In Roelof van der Merwe, they also have one of the finest competitors in world cricket at this time. He will always dig in with the bat and has the ability to pick up big wickets with the ball.
Dayyaan Galiam will be the bowler raring to go at the top of his mark ahead of this game though after he picked up figures of 4/73 in their defeat to Lions on Friday.
Titans have plenty of talent but now need to bring it all together as one to pick up a victory.
Lhuna-dre Pretorius (wk), Rivaldo Moonsamy, Neil Brand (c), Keegan Petersen, Dewald Brevis, Sibonelo Makhanya, Dayyaan Galiem, Matthew Boast, Roelof van der Merwe, Tsepo Ndwandwa, Dayyaan Galiam
Dolphins fell to their second defeat in the tournament when they were beaten by six wickets with 66 balls remaining in match five of the tournament. It was their second heavy loss after Warriors thrashed them by 126 runs in match four!
As so often happens with teams struggling at the wrong end of the table, it was poor batting, with only a small handful of batters standing up and being counted. The team looked in a good position at 92/1 and even at 158/7 they were still thinking of a decent target but had to settle for 174 all out.
Of the batting line-up, only JJ Smuts (43), Bryce Parsons (50) and Khaya Zondo (39) were able to show any fight and we expect them to be the key batters once again in this clash.
With very little to defend, Dolphins' bowlers still did a good job and Prenelan Subrayen showed a wide amount of discipline to get through his nine overs with an economy rate of 3.88.
Sarel Erwee, JJ Smuts, Bryce Parsons, Khaya Zondo, Tshepang Dithole, Romashan Pillay, Hanu Viljoen (wk), EathanBosch, Andile Simelane, Prenelan Subrayen (c), Okhule Cele
It is going to be a humid day in Centurion and it would not be a surprise if there were a couple of interruptions due to heavy rain and thunder. Sticky throughout, the temperature will reach 26 degrees at the hottest part of the day.
Centurion is one of South Africa's great cricket watching venues and we expect a good crowd to come in for this fixture. If the team who bats first make 300 then they will be well on their way to winning the game.
With both teams struggling for confidence, we predict that the captains in both dressing rooms will be wanting to bowl first ahead of coming out for the toss.
Looking at the squads of both Titans and Dolphins, it is clear that Titans have more well-known names and a larger number of internationals. That could mean that Dolphins more of a target to knock down but we think that Titans have too much quality.
