Titans have many of their key players at different positions in the batting order in good touch. Skipper Neil Brand and his opening partner Joshua van Heerden will be confident of another good start.

Though they played very slowly, they should expect a better performance in this game. They will face a tough challenge from the pacers early on on this pitch but as the game progresses, the batter will find it easy to score runs.

As such, staying at the crease longer will be the key to a big total. The middle order of Keegan Petersen and Dewald Brewis will be crucial for big partnerships.

The 159-run knock from Brewis in the 1st innings of their last Test match against Dolphins must have boosted their confidence. In the lower middle order, the likes of wicket-keeper batsman Rivaldo Moonsamy, all-rounders Phehlkuwayo and Corbin Bosch add depth to this batting lineup.

Phehlukwayo and Bosch have been in fine touch scoring consistently for the Titans and their opener Heerden has also scored a fifty in the 1st innings of both matches so far.

It is the bowling attack that needs to step up and deliver 20 wickets for the Titans to secure their first win of the tournament.

Tsepo Ndwandwa and Corbin Bosch will be leading this bowling attack. These two are among the key wicket-takers in this lineup. They need others like Matthew Boast and Phehlukwayo to them. It won’t be an easy outing for the bowlers at this venue but the Titans must bounce back with the ball.

Knights secured a huge 169-run victory in their opening game. They scored just 266 batting first in that game but dominated with the ball.

They bowled out the opposition for 266 and then while defending a 292-run target, the Knights bowled out Boland for 122 runs. The Knights were exceptional in the second game too as they restricted the North West to 232 runs.

Johan van Dyk, Siboto, Aaron Phangiso, and Matthew Pollard are among the key wicket-takers in this side who’ve made a big impact with the ball. The major concern for the Knights will be finding consistency with the bat.

Opening batter Lesego Senokwane scored 205 in the last match against North West while none of the rest could put up a fight as the Knights finished with 350 runs on the board.

Garnett Tarr and Dian Forrester are crucial in the middle order. Forrester scored 71 in the second innings against Boland helping Knights gain the upper hand in the match.

Phangiso also played a handy knock of 71 runs in the first innings of that match at number 8. However, there haven’t been consistent performances from the players at the key positions in the batting order.

Considering the playing conditions at this venue, we expect the Knights to find their form and bounce back with a much-improved batting performance.
