Faf du Plessis' side did well last year but had a poor run in the playoffs, losing both games. The side would like to start the new season positively with a good show. They have retained the core team from last year and look to play like a well-knit unit. They defeated the Knight Riders last year and look to take confidence from that win.  

Devon Conway played well last year and shall look to deliver a strong start with his skipper, Faf du Plessis. Aiden Markram adds X-factor to the middle order and will look to do well with Marcus Stoinis and Mitchell Santner. Dwayne Bravo, Aaron Hardie, and Milind Kumar make it a formidable batting lineup.    

The bowling attack will face the heat against a strong batting lineup, and they will need good spells from Naveen-ul-Haq and Zia-ul-Haq with the new ball. Dwayne Bravo, Marcus Stoinis, and Mitchell Santner complement each other and shall look to do well. The team also needs Aaron Hardie and Mohammad Mohsin to do well as bowlers.

Los Angeles Knight Riders Preview

Sunil Narine's side started as one of the favorites last season but finished at the bottom of the points table with a solitary win. It was a below-par show from the team who had big games. They have roped in several big games this season and shall look to make a good start. They went down against the Texas Super Kings last year and shall look to even it out in this game.  

Jason Roy comes into the side, strengthening the batting at the top. He will look to deliver a good start with Unmukt Chand. Alex Carey, David Miller, and Shakib al Hasan pack a lot of punch in the middle order and shall look to do well. The side will also expect fireworks from Andre Russell and Narine in the final overs and reach a big score.  

The bowling attack is strong for the team, and they will expect Joshua Little and Ali Khan to deliver early blows in the contest. Azam Zampa and Sunil Narine form a strong spin attack and will look to do well in the middle overs.
