Bengaluru Warriors' season hasn't gone as expected for them. With the acquisition of Fazel Atrachali, the Warriors would have been confident enough of making it to the playoffs, but Maninder Singh's inconsistency in raiding and injuries, no to Nitin Kumar Dhankar, and later him being ruled out of the tournament due to injury, derailed their campaign. 

Everything didn't fall into the right place, and their inability to close out games despite being in commanding positions, just like their last game against the Jaipur Pink Panthers, proved costly. They held a 10-point lead at halftime (9-19), but in the second half, they only scored 9 points and allowed the Pink Panthers to claw back into the game, scoring 23 points.

Pranay Rane with 8 raid points and Arjun Rathi with 7 raid points were the top scorers for the Warriors on the offensive end. In the defensive end, Vaibhav Garje with 4 tackle points and Nitesh Kumar with 2 tackle points were the top scorers. U Mumba enter this contest on the back of two wins and three losses in their last five games, with their latest match being a 47-30 one-sided loss against the Haryana Steelers. Mumba were out of the game right from the outset, where in the first half they conceded 26 points while scoring 14 points. The major difference was the struggle of their lead raider Ajit Chavan, who scored just one raid point in 31 minutes and was tackled four times. Manjeet also didn't have a good time as he managed to score just 4 raid points.
