Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals - Previous Encounter
The previous meeting of CSK vs RR took place in the first week of IPL 2025 at the Barsapara Stadium on 30th March. The onus of the win goes to the bowling unit of the Rajasthan Royals, where they stopped the opposition from completing the chase.
Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first. The start was positive as the bowlers scalped two early wickets, but eventually they failed to make an impact. Khaleel Ahmed, Noor Ahmad, and Matheesha Pathrina picked up 2 wickets each at an economy of 9.50, 7, and 7, respectively.
For the Rajasthan Royals, Nitish Rana came out on top with the bat. He was the leading run-scorer with 81 off 36 balls at a strike rate of 225. Riyan Parag also managed to score 37 off 28 balls at a strike rate of 132.14.
Chennai Super Kings had a slow start to the game. Their top order was a failure, and things worked against their opening partnership.
