Matthew Mott is now on a new journey of coaching after stepping down as England’s white-ball coach. He will be seen as an assistant coach to Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League for the next 3-years.

After failing to defend the T20 World Cup trophy this year, Matthew has left the English camp. English and Wales Cricket Board has appointed Brendon McCullum as their new white-ball coach till 2027.

Matthew Mott has signed a 3-year contract with the Sydney Sixer management. He will be taking on the duties from this year as the new BBL season is about to begin in December 2024.

It will be his first assignment after leaving the English camp. Mott will be assisting the team under the head coach Greg Shipperd. Matthew is replacing Cameron White who has ed Melbourne Renegades as head coach.
