There is no reason why Boland can’t win this match. There are a few areas where they need improvement but so does the opposition. In fact, the opposition has suffered batting collapses, and only in their last match did the top order find its rhythm.

Boland should be looking to target the Warriors’ vulnerability in the top order. Given that the opposition has been terrific with the ball in the last two outings, it will be a better choice for the hosts to bowl first.

They finished with 240 for 8 in their last game at this venue against the Lions and lost by 5 wickets. They will be playing into the hands of the opposition if they bat first.

Hardus Viljoen and Shaun von Berg will be the key bowlers expected to deliver early breakthroughs and put Boland ahead in the game. Here is where Boland’s vulnerability lies.
