Delhi Royals Preview

The Delhi Royals haven't started the season the royal way. It was a poor bowling performance from Shikhar Dhawan's team that saw them go down by 5 wickets against the Chhattisgarh Warriors. Dhawan will expect a better show from his bowlers as they take on a team that will be confident after winning its first game.  

Shikhar Dhawan and Sharad Lumba went out cheaply in the last game, and they aim for a better performance. Danushka Gunathilaka played an electrifying knock in the last game, and he must build partnerships with Angelo Perera and Ross Taylor in the middle order. The team will also expect quick runs from Puneet Bisht and Bipul Sharma in the final overs.  

The bowlers will be under pressure after being taken to the cleaners in the last game. Lakhwinder Singh and Jerome Taylor struggled with the new ball, and the team expected a better show from the new ball pair. Praveen Gupta and Parvinder Awana must bowl better lines in the middle overs. The side lacks depth in the bowling and expects a good show from Bipul Sharma as the 5th bowler.

Rajasthan Kings Preview

Ankit Rajpoot will be proud of his team's performance in the opening game against the Dubai Giants. They won by 4 runs despite some of their big stars not featuring in the contest. The bowlers are in good form, and Rajpoot expects a better show from his batting lineup in this game.  

Phil Mustard got a start in the last game, and he must lay a strong foundation with Gaurav Tomar in this game. The middle order didn't have a great outing, and the trio of Jaykishan Kolsawala, Rajesh Bishnoi, and Faiz Fazal will look to build partnerships. The team expects big hits from Rajat Singh and Manpreet Gony in the lower middle order.
