Mangalore Dragons Preview

Shreyas Gopal's team has put itself in a spot of bother with three consecutive losses. The side went down by 3 wickets against the Shivamogga Lions. With this loss, the side has dropped to the bottom of the points table and must win this game by a big margin to keep hopes alive for the next round. Gopal must get the best out of his players in this game.  

Macneil Noronha has done well, and the side expects a strong show from him and Rohan Pati at the start. Nikin Jose will look to build partnerships in the middle order with Krishnamurthy Siddharth and Lankesh KS. The team also expects runs in the lower middle order from Shreyas Gopal and MB Darshan.  

The bowling has fared poorly in the last few games. The team needs MB Darshan and Abhilash Shetty to get the early breakthroughs. Manish Pandey would be upset with the 6-wicket loss against the Shivamogga Lions in the last game. It was a poor show from their otherwise strong batting lineup that let them down in the last game. Pandey would look to make a strong comeback and expect good performances from his players.   

Mohammed Taha and Thippa Reddy missed out in the last game, and the team expects a good start from the openers. Manish Pandey has played well and will look to add runs in the middle order with Krishnan Shrijith and Aneeshwar Gautam.
