Multan Sultans Preview

Mohammad Rizwan's team is out of contention for the next round. The side has struggled with its form and consistency this season and went down against the Quetta Gladiators by 10 wickets. The batting lineup folded like a pack of cards in the last game, and the bowling attack has struggled in most games. Rizwan expects a better show from his players as they look to restore lost pride.

Mohammad Rizwan batted well in the last game, and he had to lead from the front and set up a big opening-wicket stand with Yasir Khan. Usman Khan, Kamran Ghulam, and Curtis Campher failed to go beyond single-digit scores in the last game and must build partnerships. Iftikhar Ahmed, Michael Bracewell and David Willey must do the big-hitting in the lower middle order for the team to win.

The bowling attack has looked toothless this season. The team expects a strong show with the new ball from David Willey and Mohammad Hasnain. Ubaid Shah and Usama Mir will look to bowl tight spells in the middle overs, as the Kings have good hitters. Iftikhar Ahmed and Michael Bracewell must deliver the goods in the ing role.

Multan Sultans Predicted Playing XI:

Mohammad Rizwan (c), Yasir Khan, Usman Khan (wk), Kamran Ghulam, Curtis Campher, Michael Bracewell, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Hasnain, David Willey, Usama Mir, Ubaid Shah

Karachi Kings Preview

David Warner will be upset with the 5-run loss against the Quetta Gladiators in the last game. They did well with the ball and were off to a good start with the bat, but allowed the game to slip away from their hands. Their opponents are struggling, and Warner would like to use this opportunity to win this game and strengthen their claim for a berth in the playoffs.

David Warner has struggled with consistency, and he must lead from the front and deliver an electrifying start with Tim Seifert. James Vince is in good form and will look to build partnerships with Shan Masood and Omair Yousuf in the middle order. They have good hitters in the lower middle order and expect runs from Khushdil Shah and Mohammad Nabi.

The bowlers did a good job in the last game, and the team expects early strikes from Mir Hamza and Hasan Ali. Mohammad Nabi has bowled well and shall look to keep the score under check in the middle overs with Abbas Afridi. Fawad Ali and Khushdil Shah add variety to the attack, making it strong.

Karachi Kings Predicted Playing XI:

David Warner (c), James Vince, Shan Masood, Tim Seifert (wk), Omair Yousuf, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Nabi, Abbas Afridi, Hasan Ali, Mir Hamza, Fawad Ali

Weather Conditions

We will have clear skies over Lahore. The wicket is slow, and the ball stops on the batsmen, as we have seen in the previous matches played on this surface. Spinners will enjoy bowling on this track. The average first-innings total this season is 145 runs, and the side batting first will like to have 180 on the board.

MS vs KRK Pitch Report

Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, has a flat surface, and the outfield is quick, allowing easy run-scoring for the batsmen. Bowlers, especially the fast bowlers, have always found it challenging to bowl here. It is a good venue for the spinners, as the ball turns sharply and stops in the batsmen.

Toss: To Bowl

It has been a difficult surface at Lahore in all games, and the teams will fancy chasing a total. The slow nature of the surface has caused trouble for the batsmen. Hence, the team winning the toss won't hesitate to bowl first.

Multan Sultans sit at the bottom of the points table. The team has struggled with the ball, and even the famed batting lineup had a meltdown in the last game. The team will look to put up a better show in this game. Karachi Kings have a strong bowling attack, and the top order has done well. It makes them favourites in this game.
