The Surrey Kings have been absolutely dominant this season, remaining unbeaten with back-to-back wins against the Middlesex United Stars and the Cornwall Warriors. In their latest match against the Cornwall Warriors, the Surrey Kings won the toss and elected to bat first. Their batters stepped up, posting a commanding score of 141 runs for the loss of four wickets in 10 overs. While Jermaine Blackwood and Tevin Gilzene failed to score runs, Kennar Lewis, batting at number three, scored a blistering 50 runs off 19 balls. Brad Barnes remained unbeaten on 62 runs off 28 balls, and Jeavor Royal provided the finishing touches with a quickfire 16 runs off 5 balls.

The Kings' bowlers then restricted the Warriors to 95/7, thanks to brilliant bowling performances from Shalome Parnell and Kenroy Williams, who each claimed two wickets. Royal, Dennis, and Mario Davis also contributed with a wicket apiece. This marks the second consecutive game where the Kings have restricted their opponents to under 100 runs.

Surrey Risers Preview

The Surrey Risers are coming off a 70-run loss against the Surrey Royals in Match 6 of the Jamaica T10 League 2025 season. The Surrey Risers won the toss and opted to field first, but their bowlers were unable to contain the Royals, conceding 141 runs for the loss of five wickets in 10 overs.

Ojay Shields was a lone bright spot, bowling an economical spell of nine runs per over and claiming two wickets in his two overs. Captain Raamal Lewis also contributed with one wicket for eight runs in his single over. However, the remaining bowlers conceded more than 10 runs per over.

Chasing a daunting target, the Risers managed to score only 71 runs for the loss of five wickets. Their top four batters struggled, scoring in single figures.
