Thrissur Titans missed a great opportunity to go into the third place of the table with a victory against Calicut Globstars. The narrow defeat means that the Titans slipped to the bottom of the table having picked up only two points from the first four matches. Still, it is not all doom and gloom for Thrissur Titans, who will be able to jump several places with a victory over Kochi Blue Tigers.

After losing an early wicket, Thrissur Titans were able to recover irably well thanks to a string of good performances from the likes of Vishnu Vinod and Ahamed Imran. The latter was able to hit the only half-century for the Titans in the game, as he came up with 53 runs from just 38 balls. Even though Imran was unable to clear the boundary even once during his innings, a staggering seven boundaries helped him put up a decent number.
