Uganda are coming off a phenomenal win over Nigeria in their last outing in a rain curtailed game where they chased down 84 runs in 9.4 overs and won the game by 5 wickets and 8 balls to spare. On the other hand, Rwanda are coming off a dominant 10 wicket over Botswana where they chased down 138 runs in 16.4 overs.

Uganda continue to dominate in the African Continental T20 Cup and they keep their unbeaten run in the tournament in tact where they defeated Nigeria in a rain curtailed clash. After being asked to bowl first by Nigeria captain Sylvester Okpe, Uganda bowlers were peppered early in the innings where Nigeria scored 49 runs for the first wicket in 8.1 overs before the left arm spinner Alpesh Ramjani picked up the wicket of Salim Salau. Ramjani then trapped Sulaimon Runsewe leg before wicket. From here on the Uganda bowlers didn't allow the Nigeria batters to get the upperhand as they eventually restricted them to 133/9 in 20 overs.
Alpesh Ramjani with a five wicket haul (5/17) played a crucial role, Cosmas Kyewuta (2/25) was equally good with the ball. After a rina interruption the target was revised to 84 runs in 12 overs. Uganda didn't get off to a good start where they lost their top order quite early and at one point were 4-42. Cosmas Kyewuta scored 24 runs in 10 balls and closed out the game.
Robinson Obuya with 107 runs in three matches, striking at 164.61 is the top run-scorer and Alpesh Ramjani & Henry Ssenyondo with six wickets each are the top wicket takers in the tournament. Spinners have been key to Uganda's success and once again they will be the players in focus.
Pascal Murungi, Raghav Dhawan, Robinson Obuya, Shrideep Mangela, Alpesh Ramjani, Dinesh Nakrani, Riazat Ali Shah, Fred Achelam, Cosmas Kyewuta, Frank Nsubuga, Henry Ssenyondo

Rwanda suffered two significant defeats in their initial matches: a six-wicket loss to Nigeria while defending a low score, and an 112-run DLS loss to Uganda. However, they bounced back strongly with a commanding 10-wicket victory over Botswana in their last game. Bowling first, Rwanda restricted Botswana to 137/9 in 20 overs. Zappy Bimenyimana (2/33), Eric Kubwimana (2/28), and Muhammad Nadir (2/29) were the standout bowlers.
Chasing a moderate target, Rwanda's openers laid a solid foundation. They started cautiously, reaching 50 runs in the eighth over. From there on, Oscar Manishimwe took charge, smashing four sixes between overs 8 and 12, propelling Rwanda to a run rate of nearly 10 runs per over. Manishimwe remained unbeaten on 89 runs off 52 balls, hitting five sixes and seven fours, while Didier Ndikubwimana provided with a well-paced 43 runs off 47 balls.
Rwanda now faces a daunting challenge against Uganda, a team that defeated them earlier in the tournament. Although Rwanda has only one win overall, this game is unpredictable. If Rwanda can dismiss Uganda's top order early and restrict them to a target of around 130-140 runs, they may have a chance to secure a victory.

But in the current tournament teams batting first won three and teams batting second have also won three matches. But win rain interruption possible teams often prefer to bat first.
Uganda having won their last encounter against Rwanda earlier in the tournament have been top notch with both bat & ball and we back them to extend their unbeaten run
