India’s mammoth 10-wicket victory breast aside any lingering doubts after the shock first T20I defeat against Zimbabwe. The victory has also rendered the final game meaningless, as India have been able to win the series 3-1. Zimbabwe will be playing for pride in this final game and India may also go with some level of experimentation. India barely had to break a sweat in the game against Zimbabwe, who had a promising start courtesy of some decent innings from Tadiwanashe Marumani, Wessly Madhevere, and Sikandar Raza.
Zimbabwe might have entered into the fourth T20I with reasonable belief after having only suffered one big defeat at the hands of the reigning T-20 world champions. Yet, it has quickly gone wrong for Zimbabwe, who have to pick themselves up quickly to avoid further slipups in the matches against the team from the subcontinent.
The result of the fourth T20I with India is undoubtedly very one-sided but there are still areas where Zimbabwe can feel quite happy about the progress. For starters, it was the best batting effort from Zimbabwe with the top order contributing quite substantially to the target of 150+.
After having had several wicket losses during the powerplay overs of the previous games, Zimbabwe were able to witness a strong partnership between Madhevere and Marumani. Even though the team appeared to close the way after a strong opening, Raza came to the rescue with a fine innings.
For all these positives, the team were let down by a collapse lower down the batting order. Crucially, the bowlers failed to have any impact against Indian batsmen despite having expected some decent performances – especially with the new ball.

India started the chase against Zimbabwe in the fourth T20I expecting a moderate task ahead of them, but Jaiswal and Gill were in the mood to make merry. There were three boundaries in the first over to give a hint of things to come. The 3-1 lead in the series is unlikely to let India lose their guard for the final T20I game of the series.
Zimbabwe could barely prevent India from having a string of big overs, as they were consistently off the line. It required just 3.5 overs for India to come up with the first 50. The only blemish for India would be Jaiswal failing to hit the century after having come ever so close.
Jaiswal finished with figures of 93 runs from just 53 balls in an innings that witnessed 13 boundaries and two sixes. Shubman Gill is now the top scorer for India in the series with 157 runs at an average of 52.33. India, however, could have done slightly better with their bowling. Only Khaleel Ahmed picked up more than one wicket, while Ravi Bishnoi and Shivam Dube did their best to contain the opposition.
In the two innings where India batted first, they smashed 20 fours in the 2nd T20I and 18 fours in the 3rd T20I. On average, they've scored 19 fours per game across the last three T20I matches of the series. We back India to hit over 18.5 fours in today's match.
Both times India has batted first in the series, they have scored in excess of 180 runs. With the Indian top order in rich form and the likes of Shivam Dube and Rinku Singh in the middle order, we back India to score over 180.5 runs in the 5th T20I.

The pitch at the Harare Sports Club is likely to be conducive for batting with only little being offered to seamers. The weather conditions are expected to be pleasant with temperatures around 14°C and wind speeds of just 8 km/h. The wicket is expected to witness some slow turn after the match progresses.
The Harare Sports Club will once again be the venue for the fifth and final T20 game of the series. The average score in the first innings for the series stands at 170 while the average score in the second innings stands at just 137.
The pitch has witnessed some impressive batting performances and teams setting a target have been able to come out successful in two of the last three games. Despite India electing to field first in the recent match, the choice for this match will be to bat first.
India were a little surprised by the margin and comfortable nature of victory in the fourth T20 game. One can expect Zimbabwe to bounce back slightly after the crushing loss, as there were several positives from the home team like a strong batting performance. Still, India are likely to come out on top quite comfortably in the fifth T20 game.
