Dark clouds are looming over the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025 as they come to host the RR vs MI match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. In the 50th fixture of the league stage, Sanju Samson will miss out on one more fixture due to his abdominal injury.
Sanju Samson is one of the key players for the Rajasthan Royals. He suffered an abdominal injury while playing against Delhi Capitals in match number 32. His injury was not serious initially, but now Sanju Samson has missed out on 3 consecutive matches. His absence against the Mumbai Indians will mark the 4th match.
Rajasthan Royals' coach has provided an update for Sanju Samson. "Sanju is recovering well. We have to take it day by day. He has a side strain, and sometimes it can be tricky. We don't want to rush, so it doesn't cause him any trouble in the long run. We are taking care of it in a day-by-day approach," Dravid said during a media round table facilitated by Star Sports.
Sanju Samson is currently in rehab for the same injury. He is doubtful to appear for the Mumbai Indians fixture on Thursday.
