Pakistan Super League postponement

With only eight games of the 2025 Pakistan Super League remaining, the rest of this year's tournament has been thrown into doubt after a drone fell within the complex of the Rawalpindi Stadium where Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi were due to play on Thursday.
This is part of the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan with a loss of life on both sides over recent weeks.
What's left in the 2025 Pakistan Super League
There are only four group stage games, followed by the play-offs, to go in this year's tournament, and most pundits expect the competition to be completed in some shape or fashion although it may require a change of venues or even hosting country.

State of play
Quetta Gladiators have already qualified for the play-offs and Multan Sultans have already been eliminated but there are four teams fighting over the three remaining top four spots.

When the PSL Resumes
This forced interruption to the tournament could have an adverse or positive effect on a number of the teams looking for a top four spot.
Islamabad United began this PSL in fine form but they will be hoping that this delay gives them an opportunity to find some form again after losing their last four fixtures!
Equally, Peshawar Zalmi had won four of their last six completed games and were climbing up the table before this stoppage.
When it's safe to do so, there will be plenty left to play for when the 2025 PSL gets back underway.
