Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders - Previous Encounter
The previous encounter between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders took place in the first week of IPL 2025. It was a one-sided fixture where Kolkata Knight Riders’ batting unit dominated the game at the start, and then their bowlers showcased pure magic.
Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bowl first. The decision worked against the team as their bowlers came out expensive and failed to scalp wickets at the right time. Pat Cummins and Harshal Patel scalped a single wicket each, but they were the most expensive bowlers at an economy of 11 and 10.75, respectively.
