Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals - Previous Encounter
It has been more than a year since the previous encounter between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals took place. The two teams met in the previous edition of the Indian Premier League and in the first week of the league stage. It was a high-scoring match where Delhi Capitals came out as the winners.
Delhi Capitals were led by David Warner, and they lost the toss but got the opportunity to bat first. Skipper David Warner (46 off 31) and Prithvi Shaw (54 off 38) gave a stable start to the team. However, it was Rilee Russow who stole the show by scoring 82 off 37 balls at a strike rate of 221.62.
