Antigua and Barbuda Falcons will take on Saint Lucia Kings in their 4th match of the season. After two close losses, the Falcons were outplayed by the Royals in their last match at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
Saint Lucia Kings emerged victorious in their opening game on the back of a stunning performance from Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Tim Seifert who led the comeback after Kings were 4 down for 24 runs.
Falcons were impressive with the ball in their first two outings but found themselves on the back foot in their recent match as Barbados Royals chased down 149 runs in just 15.3 Overs with 9 wickets in hand.
Kings will come here with great confidence after their recent victory. The bowlers should bounce back against a struggling Falcons lineup. They will be playing on a slightly different pitch and should expect a similar challenge from the Falcons’ bowling attack as well.

Antigua and Barbuda Falcons have lost the toss in all of their 3 matches so far and were put to bat first on each of these occasions. This is a major factor that has affected their chances of winning.
While they might fancy their chances of winning while chasing a total, the toss is not in their control. They must stick to the basics and look into their batting issues. There have been no consistent players for the Falcons who can be looked up to in times of need.
Fakhar Zaman is a key batter in the top order but hasn’t received good from his opening partner. Kofi James was promoted to open the innings alongside Zaman after Teddy Bishop failed to deliver.
The results didn’t change and Antigua are still in need of a strong and reliable opening combination. Sam Billings was a great choice at number 3 in the last match, promoting him from number 4 but all in vain.
While Jewel Andrew missed his second fifty of the season by 2 runs at number 4, all-rounder Imad Wasim couldn’t continue his rhythm from the last game. These inconsistencies are hurting Antigua and Barbuda Falcons badly.
Mohammad Amir’s expensive spell also put them on the back foot when they came to defend the low total. Though Imad Wasim and Hayden Walsh weren’t as expensive, they were still wicketless, making no impact on the game whatsoever.
There are quality bowlers in this side who’ve been the match-winners for various franchises around the world. Though there are a few inexperienced batters in the lineup, they still have a couple of experienced players in there.
The left-hander looked in phenomenal touch, smashing 17 runs in 11 balls before mistiming one to short extra cover in the last match. Zaman has scored 40 and 43 runs in the first two games of L 2024. He is in good touch ahead of the game and will look to make a huge impact with the bat.
Jewel Andrew has scores of 48, 10 & 50* runs in the tournament. He is the leading run-scorer for the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons with 108 runs in three matches, averaging 54. Given his recent form, we back Andrew to score over 17.5 runs in today's match against the Kings.

Tim Seifert is a very experienced T20 player having featured in many T20 leagues around the world. He’s been part of the Knight Riders’ camp in the past and has always been a crucial figure with the bat.
However, what he did in the last game wasn’t expected. He hasn’t been in such form for quite some time now. His 27-ball 64 runs knock at number 6 was the game-changer for Kings who were 4 down for 24 runs while chasing 202 against SNP.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa, a middle-order batter known for his attacking approach to batting, was unbeaten on 68 off 35 balls at number 4. David Wiese also made a handy contribution at number 7.
Skipper Faf du Plessis will be delighted with this performance and it sends out a message too. Even if the likes of Johnson Charles and Faf du Plessis are back in the hut early, the Kings have a deep batting lineup that can lead them to a big score.
They’ve got Roston Chase too at number 5. It is a solid-looking batting lineup but needs to find its footing on the bowling-friendly pitch in Antigua. It won’t be as easy to strike the ball as it was in St Kitts.
They’ve got a challenge on their hands in the bowling department. Most of the bowlers were wicketless and will be keen on finding their form. David Wiese and Alzarri Joseph will be the key pacers while Roston Chase and Noor Ahmed are the star spinners in this attack.
Rajapaksa remained unbeaten on 68 runs in 35 balls, smashing six fours and four sixes in the last match against St. Kitts and guiding the Kings home with a 103-run partnership with Tim Seifert. He is a very good player and can adapt well to slow surfaces. With the pitch at North Sound, Antigua being two-paced, Rajapaksa will once again be a key batter for the Kings.
The skipper of St. Lucia Kings failed to score runs in the last game, where he got out for 2 runs. He scored 14, 100, 34, 61, and 55 runs in his last five innings, excluding the last game. Du Plessis has been in phenomenal form in 2024 in the shortest format. We back him to bounce back and score a match-winning knock in today's game against the Falcons.

The weather would be mostly cloudy in Antigua on the match day with a high of 30 degrees Celsius around the match time. There should be no rain and we expect a complete T20 game like the ones we had here before.

It looks like a balanced wicket that tilts a bit more in favor of the bowlers making life difficult for the batting side in the 1st innings. The average 1st innings score here this season is 158 runs. We reckon a total of 175 or more can be a match-winning total at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
The average total match scores in the three matches played at North Sound, Antigua is 320 runs. The pitch is a balanced one which assists both the batters and bowlers and the average scores range in between 155-165 runs. Expect another moderate scoring game with the total match score over 318.5 runs.
Teams bowling first have won all the 3 matches played at this venue in L 2024. It seems quite challenging to bat first and put on a competitive total on this ground. Royals made the chase look quite easy in the last match played here and both teams should now be looking to bowl first if they win the toss.
It should be another exciting game of T20 cricket in L 2024 with two well-matched teams going head to head. On paper, both look pretty strong but considering the current form of the home team, we reckon they’re staring at another defeat. Antigua’s batting is in big trouble and they will be fighting an uphill battle in this match. Saint Lucia Kings will start with an edge in this contest and will be our favorties to win.
