Brisbane Heat Preview

It has been an excellent campaign for Colin Munro's side this season. They sit at the top of the points table and need another victory to qualify for the next round. The side defeated the Sydney Sixers by 3 runs under the DLS method in the last game. They haven't lost a game, and Munro would like his players to take inspiration from those victories and win here.  

The opening pair of Colin Munro and Josh Brown have been in excellent form, and the side will expect a good start from them. The middle order has done well, and the side will expect partnerships between Nathan McSweeney, Matt Renshaw, and Sam Billings. Paul Walter and Xavier Bartlett are good hitters and will look to add quick runs in the lower middle order.  

The bowling attack has troubled the opponents this season, and the side would like to see early wickets from Spencer Johnson and Michael Neser. Xavier Bartlett and Matthew Kuhnemann will look to bowl tight spells in the middle overs and put a check on the scoring rate. Ellis would like to see a determined effort from his side.  

Ben McDermott and Caleb Jewell will look to offer a good start at the top as they take on a strong bowling attack. They have a formidable middle order, and the side will need runs from Macalister Wright, Sam Hain, and Corey Anderson. Tim David is one of the best finishers and will look to add quick runs with Chris Jordan.
