Mangalore Dragons Preview

Shreyas Gopal's team is out of contention for the next round. The side went down by 42 runs against the Hubli Tigers in the last game after the bowling attack failed to execute its plans. Big names on the team have been in poor form, and the side has paid the price. They will play for their pride, and Gopal expects a strong show from his players.

The team expects a strong show from Macneil Noronha and Rohan Pati as the batting lineup hasn't lived up to its reputation. The middle order has struggled with consistency, and the team needs Krishnamurthy Siddharth, Tushar Singh, and Lochan Gowda. The side will expect Sagar Solanki and Gopal to do the heavy lifting in the lower middle order.

The team got its bowling plan wrong in the last game. The team expects early wickets from Abhilash Shetty and Shreyas Gopal in this game. Dheeraj J Gowda and Paras Gurbax Arya must bowl better spells in the middle overs. The team will also look for a good show from Noronha and Advith Shetty.

Mangalore Dragons Predicted Playing XI:

Shreyas Gopal (c), Tushar Singh, Macneil Hadley Noronha, Nikin Jose, Krishnamurthy Siddharth (wk), Lochan Gowda, Sagar Solanki, Dheeraj J Gowda, Abhilash Shetty, Advith Shetty, Paras Gurbax Arya, Rohan Patil (Impact Player)

Mysore Warriors Preview

Karun Nair comes into the game with a massive win. The side defeated the defending champions Hubli Tigers by 74 runs in the last game and have earned their qualification for the next round. They have their batsmen in good form and shall look to capitalize on that heading into the next game.

SU Karthik and Codanda Ajit Karthik batted well in the last game and shall look to make a promising start. Nair played a captain's knock against the Tigers and shall look to add runs with Harshil Dharmani and Sumit Kumar in the middle order. Manoj Bhandage and Jagadeesha Suchith add strength to this batting lineup.

Smayan Srivastava and Codanda Ajit Karthik did well with the new ball in the previous game and shall aim for early wickets. Krishnappa Gowtham and Jagadeesha Suchith will be confident after bowling well in the last game. Deepak Devadiga, Dhanush Gowda, and Manoj Bhandage add to the team's bowling options.

M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, is a batsman's paradise with a flat surface and fast outfield assisting them. The surface assists the fast bowlers. Smaller boundaries make it easy for the batsmen to hit the ball in the air. Spinners have always had it tough at this venue.

Toss: To Bowl

The side chasing has won over 70% of games at this venue. The surface has been slower than normal, and teams have struggled to score quick runs in the early overs. The side winning the toss would look to bowl first in this game.

The Mangalore Dragons will be low on confidence. The side has played poorly, and the senior players haven't risen to the occasion. They must play aggressively to win this game. The Mysore Warriors have been consistent and have a strong batting lineup. They come here with a massive win against a strong side and shall start favorites.
