Middlesex Preview

Leus du Plooy, who is leading in the absence of Stephen Eskinazi, led the side to a 6-wicket win against Glamorgan in the last game. However, this effort isn’t enough for the side to reach the quarterfinal, as their poor show at the start of the season has ended all their hopes. The Middlesex skipper will expect to do well as they play for their pride.  

Leus du Plooy and Martin Andersson must deliver a strong start, as it has been one of the problem areas for the team. Jack Davies will look to build partnerships in the middle overs with Ryan Higgins and Luke Hollman. The side will expect a good show in the lower middle order from Joe Cracknell and Mark Stoneman.  

The bowlers did a good job in the last game, and the new ball pair of Noah Cornwell and Tom Helm will look to do well and put Gloucestershire under pressure. They lost to Middlesex earlier in the season and shall look to even it out in this game.  

Cameron Bancroft batted well in the last game and will look to deliver a confident start with Miles Hammond. Jack Taylor led from the front in the last match with a match-winning knock, and he will look to add runs in the middle order with James Bracey and Beau Webster. Ben Charlesworth, Oliver Price, and MD Taylor add depth to the batting.
