Everybody knows that T20 cricket has the ability to turn on one moment of brilliance but there is also the momentum word which is a big thing in tournament cricket. At the moment it is Melbourne Stars who have that and their task will be to carry on where they left off in their last game when this match gets underway!
For Sydney Sixers, they will know the opposition top players inside out and their task will be to take some of the energy out of the Stars, either in the field or with the bat across the powerplay. But even if the honours are even at the end of the first innings, the belief of the Stars could play an important part at the Junction Oval.
We are not expecting the weather to play an important role, but the toss could be crucial! Either way, this match is full of some of the best cricketers in women's cricket and an entertaining spectacle is guaranteed.

Both teams are packed with international stars and it may well come down to which of the top drawer players are able to turn up and produce the goods on the day!
For Melbourne Stars, it was Yastika Bhatia who starred with 57 runs from 46 balls at the top of the order, producing a foundation for the side to get over the winning line with seven wickets and 12 balls remaining. But if she fails this time, there is always the likes of Meg Lanning, Annabel Sutherland and Marizanne Kapp!
Only Sutherland and Maisy Gibson went wicketless for the Stars in their last game but the experienced all-round pair of Kapp and Kim Garth are likely to enjoy bowling on this pitch, particularly if they get first use of the surface.

We all know that there are some fine international players on display in this year's WBBL, and Ellyse Perry produced the good once again in Match 15 on her way to taking the Player of the Match award and helping Sydney Sixers pick up their second win of the campaign.
Batting at the top of the order, the all-rounder hit 86 runs from 62 balls and although keeper-batter Alyssa Healy was dismissed for only four runs from five balls, the pair are one of the most dangerous in this year's tournament. And with Ashleigh Gardner and Hollie Armitage at four and five, there is plenty of depth in their top order.
With the ball, Lauren Cheatle, Sophie Ecclestone and Caoimhe Bray all come into this game after picking up two-wicket hauls in the last match so will be full of confidence.

According to the forecast, it will be a pleasant late morning and early afternoon in Melbourne on Friday. There is no rain expected and humidity levels are set to be low as well with a high of 20 degrees.
This pitch in Melbourne was tough for batting on in the first game here earlier in the tournament. But it soon flattened out over the next two games with the run numbers improving. We expect a good batting track with a par score around 160 in this fixture.
All four of the games at the Junction Oval so far in the tournament have been won by the team fielding first and chasing in the second innings. With the pitch expected to be better for batting in the second innings once again, we predict both captains to want to field first.
Although both teams have four points ahead of this game, Melbourne Stars triumphed easily the last time they met, winning by 32 runs (DLS). We expect to see another victory for Annabel Sutherland's side in this clash.
