Shivamogga Lions Preview

Shreyas Gopal's side defeated the Mysore Warriors in the last game by 5 wickets. This win has kept the side's hopes alive for a place in the next round. They batted well in the last game, and this will add to the side's confidence. In an earlier game, they had defeated the Mangalore Dragons, and Gopal would like his side to take inspiration from that win.  

Nihal Ullal did well in the last game, and he will look to deliver a strong start in this game with Rohan Kadam. The side will expect a good show from Rohan Naveen, Rohit Kumar K, and Abhinav Manohar in the middle order. Kranthi Kumar, Gopal, and S Shivraj add depth to this batting line-up.

Krishnappa Gowtham's side went down by 7 wickets against the Mysore Warriors in the last game. It was another instance of the bowling attack failing to deliver the goods. One more loss can end their hopes of reaching the semis, and the side will need a good show from their bowlers to win here.  

Krishnamurthy Siddharth and Rohan must add runs at the top; both players have done well in the season. Sharath BR has been consistent in the middle order, and he must anchor the innings with Gowtham and Gaurav Dhiman. Aneeshwar Gautam and Anirudha Joshi will look to add quick runs in the lower middle order.  

The bowling attack has looked toothless, and they will need early strikes from Anand Doddamani and Sankalp Shettennavar. Gowtham has tons of experience and must do well in the middle overs with Aditya Goyal and Paras Gurbaux Arya. They will also need good spells from Naveen MG and Joshi.
