St Kitts and Nevis Patriots will take on Trinbago Knight Riders in their last game at this venue before L moves to Barbados. SNP have lost all their games so far and will be eager to secure their first win.
Trinbago Knight Riders, on the other hand, have played two matches, of which one was washed out after just 3 overs of play. While their recent match at Warner Park saw the Knight Riders continue their poor form from last season.
Even in the washed-out game, there were signs of Trinbago’s batting issues and with the recent loss against Saint Lucia Kings, the vulnerabilities are out in the open.
A mighty lineup of TRK should be hoping that they make a comeback against an out-of-form SNP bowling attack. In spite of a comeback with the bat after back-to-back failures, the Patriots could not secure a win.
While defending a 197-run total, SNP conceded 200 runs in 18.3 Overs for just 4 wickets.

Evin Lewis must be gutted after the last match. The batting lineup had failed to deliver in the previous two outings at this venue. When they finally delivered a competitive 1st innings total, the bowlers let them down.
What looked like a threatening bowling attack at the start of the league has turned out to be one of the most underwhelming lineups in the tournament. Left-arm orthodox Ashmead Nedd replaced Sheldon Cottrell who had been very expensive in the previous two matches.
Nedd picked 1 for 36 in his 4 Overs while Dominic Drakes and Oshane Thomas bowled at economies of 12.30 and 13.70 respectively. Another key bowler in this attack is Corbin Bosch who finished with 1 for 28 from his 3 Overs.
At this point, no bowler looks very promising and Lewis has a big challenge at his hands. There are still changes being made to the batting order as they sent Rayudu lower down the order while playing Jyle Goodie at number 5.
There is great potential in this batting lineup. Though they may look confused and uncertain with their approach SNP has the batting firepower to score big or even chase down a competitive total.
Dominic Drakes and Corbin Bosch are crucial in the lower order and can finish the innings for SNP.

Trinbago Knight Riders won’t be a happy bunch as they gear up for this match. They played their 2nd L game after a week’s gap and ended up performing poorly.
They seem to have carried the form and momentum from the last season where they failed miserably. For a team that once dominated the L like no other team has ever done, the recent performance is a terrible sign.
Knight Riders have maintained the core of their squad every season. They still have Pollard, Russell, Narine, and Bravo in the lineup. In addition, they’ve also got Martin Guptill and Nicholas Pooran in the side this year.
It is hard to understand how a side with such big names can be bowled out for 113 runs while chasing a par score of 168 runs. The batting lineup is so deep that Andre Russell came in at number 8 in the last game followed by Sunil Narine at 9.
Mark Deyal has been one of the most promising players in L in recent years. The all-rounder hasn’t bowled for the Knight Riders yet but has replaced Narine as the opener for the side.
Chadwick Walton is another key player who’s got tons of T20 experience and holds the key to the middle order. The bowlers should be able to do a good job against SNP. There is plenty of variety and experience in this attack.
Martin Guptill, Mark Deyal, Chadwick Walton, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Kieron Pollard (c), Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo, Sunil Narine, Akeal Hosein, Ali Khan, Jaden Carmichael

The pitch has been batting-friendly from the start and recent matches have shown how much it helps batters in the second innings. The weather will be mostly cloudy with a high of 27 degrees Celsius.

Warner Park, Basseterre in St Kitts and Nevis will host its last match of L 2023 as Patriots lock horns with Knight Riders looking for their first win. Though the average 1st innings score here is 165 runs, a match-winning total would be something over 190 runs.
Teams batting second have won 2 of the 4 matches played here so far. However, historically, the pitch has favored teams batting second and recently the Royals chased down 200 runs against SNP quite comfortably. We reckon both teams would continue to opt to bowl first as they did on previous occasions.
Neither team is in great touch and though the Patriots bounced back with the bat they are yet to find a rhythm. Not all their key players are in good touch and they lack consistency. Knight Riders failed to chase down a par score in spite of a star-studded lineup. But their bowlers can be effective against SNP and give them an edge in the game. At the same time, the expensive spells from Patriots make them less reliable when defending a total.
Trinbago Knight Riders will start with a slight edge in our match prediction considering their squad strength and bowling attack.
