Matthew Short's side hit form after four consecutive losses as they defeated the Perth Scorchers by 9 wickets. It was a much-needed win for the side as they have struggled with consistency. They are sixth on the points table and need a big win to improve their prospects of reaching the playoffs. Short would like his players to use the home advantage and win.  

Matthew Short led from the front and played a match-winning knock in the last game. He will look to set up a big stand with D'Arcy Short. The middle order must stand tall, and the side will likely run from Chris Lynn, Adam Hose, and Thomas Kelly. Jamie Overton and Harry Nielsen strengthen the line-up in the lower middle order.  

Matthew Short and David Payne will look to bowl tight spells at the start and put the side in a commanding position. Henry Thornton and Jamie Overton have struggled with their consistency, and the side would expect a good show from them. Hobart Hurricanes Preview

In their last game against the Brisbane Heat, Nathan Ellis' side suffered heartbreak. They came back from behind to secure a dream win but fell short of the target by one run. Ellis and his men would look to put this upset behind them and come up with a better show in this game.  

The side will need a good start from Ben McDermott and Caleb Jewell. The pair hasn't been consistent, and it has hurt their prospects. They have a strong middle order with Macalister Wright, Sam Hain, and Corey Anderson, and the side would like to see partnerships between them. Tim David, Nikhil Chaudhary is one of the best finishers and will look to add quick runs with Chris Jordan.  

Riley Meredith and Corey Anderson will look for early wickets, as their opponents haven't been in the best form this season.
