Everyone loves a double-game day in any sport, league or tournament and this Saturday it is the SA20 which delivers two matches and four teams in action! The first of those fixtures is this clash between Durban's Super Giants and Sunrisers Eastern Cape which gets underway in early afternoon in Durban.
This will be Match 12 of the competition and so far it has been a fascinating second edition of the SA20. Only the Joburg Super Kings are yet to pick up a win and the Super Giants alongside Paarl Royals are leading the way with three wins and one defeat each.
Kingsmead has provided plenty of runs already in this campaign and we could well see a bumper match of runs once more.

After wins over MI Cape Town, Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Joburg Super Kings, Durban's Super Giants were flying along at the top of the table before Pretoria Capitals beat them at Centurion on Thursday. It was certainly a shock to see Keshav Maharaj's side on the wrong side of a game although they will be pretty confident that it was only Will Jacks' freak innings of 101 runs from 42 balls which took the match away from them!
The batting of the Super Giants has been their major string and even though no one scored more than 33 against the Capitals the team still posted 187/7 when chasing 205 to win. Matthew Breetzke top scored on Thursday and has been in fine form, as has Heinrich Klaasen who had a blip with only making one run at Centurion. With Quinton de Kock, Kyle Mayers and Marcus Stoinis also in the top six, another big score for Durban is certainly not out of the question.

Rain often plays too much of a role in the group stages of a franchise tournament and it was looking like that could be the case for the Sunrisers when they took on MI Cape Town in Match 8. Prior to the game the noise was all about how they were a winless side but the truth was that they had only taken the field in one game!
The opening pair of Jordan Hermann (106*) and Dawid Malan (53) did the business against Cape Town and we can expect them to take the attack to Durban's bowlers in this match. However, Hermann will need to be wary of Reece Topley who dismissed him in the head to head in Match 5 and took his second three-wicket haul of the tournament on Thursday.
Ottniel Baartman is Sunrisers' form bowler after he took 3/35 in the win over MI Cape Town.

It looks like being a very pleasant Saturday afternoon in Durban with the temperature floating above 25 degrees throughout the game. No rain or even clouds are forecast across the match!

This pitch is fast, true and consistent! The curator at Kingsmead will not produce something which is two-paced and the batters will be grateful. With the batting line-ups, we could well see two teams making totals of 200+.
As it is an excellent batting pitch, we expect to see both captains choosing to bat first if they win the toss. You can demoralise the opposition by going big in the first innings of the game and that will be the target for this match.
Although this is first versus fourth, we are expecting a close contest across Saturday afternoon at Kingsmead. Sunrisers will give the Super Giants a good match but our winning prediction is that the deep batting line-up of Durban's Super Giants will come out on top.
