Harmanpreet Kaur, as we predicted in our analysis of the previous match, continues to struggle with her batting form. There is no doubt about the potential and skill of the Indian skipper.
However, the lack of reliable batters in the top order who could set the stage up for a big finish puts pressure on Kaur and restricts her from playing more freely.
Richa Ghosh and Kanika Ahuja are also good batters at 5 and 6 following the skipper in the batting order. Ghosh has delivered some impactful knocks in the past and Ahuja too made a name for herself in the Women’s T20 league.
