Multan Sultans Preview

Mohammad Rizwan's side put up a brilliant show in their final league game. They defeated the Quetta Gladiators by 79 runs to finish at the top of the points table. They will look to enter the final for the fourth consecutive season by winning this game. They lost both games against Peshawar Zalmi on the league stage, and Rizwan would like to turn the table in this game.  

Mohammad Rizwan is in excellent form. He will aim to lead from the front and start this game well with Yasir Khan. Usman Khan has played well and will look to add runs in the middle order with Johnson Charles and Iftikhar Ahmed. Chris Jordan and Tayyab Tahir add strength to the lower middle order.  

Their bowlers must be at the top of the game for the team to win. David Willey has bowled well and will look to strike early along with Mohammad Ali. Usama Mir and Abbas Afridi are in good form, and they will look to keep the scoring under check in the middle overs. Babar Azam's side finished second on the points table. They have ended the league stage with a close win against the Karachi Kings. The side has its top order in excellent form, which will make the team confident. Azam would like his players to take inspiration from the two wins they ed against the Multan Sultans in the last game.  

Babar Azam is the leading run-scorer this season and will look to deliver a strong start with Saim Ayub. They have a strong middle order, and the side expects partnerships between Tom Kohler-Core, Haseebullah Khan, and Mohammad Harris. Rovman Powell and Aamer Jamal complete a strong batting lineup for the team.  

The bowling attack bravely defended a low total in the last game. The team expects tight spells with the new ball from Luke Wood and Mehran Mumtaz.
