Pakistan Preview

Babar Azam's side has been clinical in both its league games. They defeated Nepal by a big margin and put up a good fight against India, only to share points with the archrivals after rain halted play. They have a good record against Bangladesh, and playing at home, Azam would like a clinical show from his players.  

Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq missed out in the only game they played, and the pair will look to deliver a good start. The middle order has done well, and the side will expect runs from Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Agha Salman. Iftikhar Ahmed played brilliantly against Nepal, adding firepower to the batting line-up with Shadab Khan and Shaheen Afridi. 

They have a strong pace attack, and Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah are in good form. The pair will look for early breakthroughs with the new ball. Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf have done well in the tournament and will look to keep a check on the scoring rate in the middle overs. Mohammad Nawaz and Salman complete a strong attack for the side.

Shakib al Hasan's side put up a good show against Afghanistan to win the game by 89 runs. It was after the side had started the tournament with a big loss against Sri Lanka. The side will face a tough challenge in this contest as they take on the hosts. Shakib would like a spirited performance from his players.  

Litton Das will return to the side and look to deliver a good start in this game along with Mohammad Naim. Mehidy Hasan Miraz was brilliant in the last game, and he would look to add runs in the middle order with Towhid Hridoy and Najmul Hossain Shanto. Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib, and Afif Hossain add solidity to this batting line-up in the lower middle order.
