Trinbago Knight Riders will be facing Jamaica Tallawahs for the second time this season. The two teams will lock horns at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad with TRK leading 1-0 in the head-to-head wins so far.
Knight Riders have bounced back really well this year after a dismal performance in the last season. They have played like champions so far with most of their key players rising to the occasion and delivering match-winning performances with both bat and ball.

The Knight Riders didn’t start on a good note as they were bowled out for 113 runs while chasing 168 runs against Saint Lucia Kings. It looked like Trinbago Knight Riders have carried their batting woes from the last season.
However, in the very next game, the middle order put on a great show as Knight Riders chased down 180 runs with 6 wickets in hand. Nicholas Pooran who scored 61 off 32 balls in that game looked out of shape in the next few outings but is now back with a bang.
The number 3 batsman scored a hundred in the last game against SNP and will be one to watch out for in this lineup. While Andre Russell and Kieron Pollard are the perfect finishers lower down the order, Trinbago have found a gem for the middle order in Akeal Hossein.
He was given an opportunity at number 5 against Guyana where he scored an unbeaten 44 off 35 balls. Apparently, that’s not good enough for the skipper as he replaced him at number 5 in the next few matches.
The strength of this batting lineup lies in the middle order with the openers being quite inconsistent. Sunil Narine will be the key wicket-taker for TKR going ahead.
Hossein hasn’t picked a lot of wickets but delivers economical spells at times. Andre Russell is the other key wicket-taker in this bowling attack.

Jamaica Tallawahs have some quality bowlers in their squad who have lived up to the promise but the overall team effort has fallen short.
