This looks like being an excellent contest between two teams who won their opening games before being pegged back and then going on to win their third matches of the tournament.
As with all the teams in this challenge, there is an excellent smattering of experienced players, some unfortunate to not be called up for the T20 World Cup, as well as some exciting young prospects.
On a pitch which will offer something for all kinds of batters and bowlers, getting a good start couldbe crucial and we expect that whichever team has the better of the first ten overs will go on and triumph.
The winner of this game will also put them in a very strong position for the rest of the tournament.

The Strikers made it two wins from three games thanks to their impressive first innings total of 173/5 here at the Karen Rolton Oval on Tuesday. That recent knowledge of batting on this wicket could be the difference between the sides although the Strikers were only able to win by 17runs in the game against Melbourne Renegades.
Captain Katie Mack has, for a long time, been Adelaide Strikers' top batter but 24 year old Madeline Marie Penna could be her long term replacement as she is having a fantastic month. Less than two weeks after hitting 52 and taking 3/38 in a 50-over game, she hit 113 from just 64 balls on Tuesday and was only dismissed via a run-out. If she gets going again then Adelaide Strikers will be very hard to stop!
With the ball, Anesu Mushangwe and Eleanor Larosa are always dangerous but spinner Amanada-Jade Wellington is on a different level. She comes into this match after taking 4/18 in the last game.

There were two standout performers for Brisbane Heat in their last game with keeper-batter Mikayla Wrigley producing a solid innings at the top of the order to easily chase down their target of 94. Alongside her other teammates in the top three, Laura Harris and captain Charli Knott, the trio will all come into this match full of confidence.
But the smooth batting performance would not have been so easy had the Brisbane Heat bowling attack not delivered such a well disciplined and penetrative display against ACT.
In this game, if one of Sianna Ginger (3/14), Lucy Hamilton (2/5) or Nicola Hancock (2/14) produce the same then Brisbane Heat are going to be very hard to stop at the Karen Rolton Oval.

There is some poor weather forecast for later in the day in Adelaide but this game should all be done and dusted by the time that arrives. Instead, this match looks set to be played under a mixture of cloudy spells and sunny conditions. The temperature could climb as high as 27 degrees during this fixture.
This pitch at the Karen Rolton Oval has so far proved to be a good one for neutral fans. There are some runs to be scored but equally bowlers have looked in the game throughout. Whoever bats first will feel they are in the contest if they are able to post a score of 145+.
We have seen teams win after batting first as well as fielding first at this venue during this campaign but we expect the weather conditions to come into consideration during the toss. It will be cooler during the first half of the game so we predict that both skippers will want to field first.
Although both teams have the same record, winning their first and last games but losing the one sandwiched in between, it is Brisbane Heat who have enjoyed the more comprehensive victories. They have already thrashed Sydney Thunder and ACT Women so we are predicting another victory for Brisbane Heat.
We are backing Brisbane Heat to win!
